When we were children, we would spend hours coloring pictures for our parents. Green dogs, pink skies and yellow water. Time and social conditioning taught us that these objects have certain qualities that remain constant.As it turns out, color is fairly constant. And while colors have various meanings in other cultures, they regularly impact feelings, moods and behavior through the subconscious.
The idea is to be aware of color while branding your business. Make it a priority to ask questions and be conscious of the color decisions made while designing and maintaining your brand. In turn, you'll elicit the right emotions out of your target audience and create positive brand reinforcement.

- BLACK - Symbolizes authority and power.

- PINK - A very romantic and tranquilizing color.
- BLUE - Causes the opposite reaction as red. Blue symbolizes peace, tranquility, stability, harmony, unity, trust, truth, confidence, conservatism, security, cleanliness, order, loyalty, sky, water, cold, technology, and depression. - GREEN - Green symbolizes nature and it is the easiest color on the eye. It is a calming, refreshing color. It also symbolizes health, good luck, renewal, youth, vigor, spring, generosity, fertility, jealousy, inexperience, envy, misfortune. Dark green is masculine, conservative, and implies wealth.
- YELLOW - Yellow also demands attention. It is considered an optimistic color, yet people tend to lose their tempers more often in yellow rooms, and babies will cry more. It is the most difficult color for the eye to take in, so it can be overpowering if overused. Yellow enhances concentration, hence its use for legal pads. It also speeds metabolism.
- PURPLE - The color of royalty, luxury, wealth, and sophistication. It is also feminine and romantic. It symbolizes spirituality, nobility, mystery, transformation, wisdom, enlightenment, cruelty, arrogance, mourning. Purple is also considered an exotic color.
- BROWN - Solid and reliable, brown is the color of earth and is abundant in nature. Light brown implies genuineness while dark brown is similar to wood or leather. Men are more apt to say brown is one of their favorite colors.
- ORANGE - Symbolizes balance, warmth, enthusiasm, vibrance, flamboyancy, and is demanding of attention.
